Your main responsibilities will be to grow the Zood business Merchant Portfolio in the local market through operational and strategic actions. You will directly manage your commercial team and oversee and manage key partner relationships, drive sales and execute marketing campaigns across all business models under Zood Eco-system.

Responsibilities:

  • Increase the leads funnel & convert new Merchant in the Zood eco-system
  • Definition and development of a targeted strategy with the various acquisition channels (SEM, SEO, Display, Social Networks, RTB, Retargeting, etc.)
  • Management and optimization of visibility on the web while generating qualified traffic
  • Analysis of performance indicators (conversion rate, average basket, turnover, margin, customer value, etc.) and implementation of innovative solutions for constant improvement of campaign performance
  • Management of the budget on these different channels with a view to return on investment of the different campaigns
  • Supervision of teams dedicated to each channel, in particular SEO
  • Definition of partnerships and coordination of agencies
  • Creation of monitoring and decision support reports.
  • Develop procedures for converting target clients sustainably based on best practices
  • Develop and implement plans to deliver sustained growth in client base and revenue for the suite of services
  • Manage the lead generation, conversion, and activation / onboarding process for new clients from existing markets and new markets
  • Establish personal contact and rapport with influencers, decision-makers and aggregators
  • Lead client onboarding, refresher training programs in addition to other engagement activities to increase revenue from existing clients.
  • Develop and execute client retention programs and activities
  • Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to ensure smooth operation and is featured in Zood events to generate leads and drive increased revenue
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Develop proposals and quotes in line with the pricing strategy
  • Report on sales progress against targets and lead execution of the gap-closing intervention
  • Represent the sales team and present sales plans and situation in regular meetings
  • Responsible for the cascading, monitoring and execution of team KPIs in line with business strategy
  • Active involvement in the development of functional / industry practice

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • A completed master’s degree from an accredited university; An MBA, Business Management degree or relevant
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Email, Internet etc.
  • Proficient in Google Office Suite Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.
  • Proficient in English and Arabic languages
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience within the transportation / logistics industry
  • Strong knowledge base of the industry and marketplace
  • Proven experience in prospecting and developing new business
  • Strong sales background and capability
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Driven to make money with a talent for negotiating
  • Proactive attitude, entrepreneur, able to work both independently and within a team.
