API Integration Engineer

The role

We are looking for an Integration cum Technical Support Engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software problems and help our customers build and operate integration with a different kind of API’s provided by ZoodPay & ZoodMall.

We require individuals who are team players, have decent communication skills, who think logically and work very hard, able to work independently in a very employee-friendly and flexible work environment, and, most important, are eager to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution
  • Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve system issues
  • Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
  • Work closely with our product managers and development teams
  • Attend daily stand-ups and any other meetings schedules
  • Manage tasks using JIRA and communicate status to tech leads and project managers
  • Support production releases and investigate issues if needed

Job requirements

  • Basic knowledge of HTTP, DNS protocols
  • Basic knowledge of REST, JSON
  • Good knowledge of PHP, HTML, MySQL/SQL
  • Experience in QA/Rest API testing
  • Experience with Postman or curl/other command line HTTP clients
  • Basic knowledge of git
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong prioritization skills
  • Experience working in agile projects
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Good knowledge of English & Russian language (both spoken and written)
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team
