Job Description:

As an Accountant at Zood in Pakistan, you will be managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Ultimately, you will provide the company with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the data entry in the accounting database
  • Ensure timely bank payments according to company internal procedures
  • Handle salary calculation and booking
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare tax returns and ensuring that taxes are paid properly and on time
  • Participate in audit processes, including preparation of requested documents
  • Other ad-hock tasks to assist CFO and unit heads

Job requirements


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in accounting. Experience in the e-commerce or Fintech industries is a plus
  • Experience in working with ERP systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of Pakistan tax code
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and records
  • Able to draft Financial Statements
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Arabic languages
  • Well-organized with attention to detail
